Rebel Racing was formed early in 2006 by kyle4445 and WildFire. Both left their previous NHRL teams, albeit under very different circumstances. WildFire left Legion of Doom when his contract expired, parting amicably with team leader Reef. kyle445 arrived after the firestorm surrounding the collapse of Team BBFF. Rebel Racing had a short, unspectacular existence during the first half of the 2006 season.
