Potential New Rules / Revisions

Post by lepage71 »

Here's a summary of the rules unique to IROC from last year: http://nascarheatracingleague.com/forum ... 55&t=12701.

I think we'll end up keeping most of them. However, we're curious if anyone has any additional ideas for 2020? I've thought of a few tweaks but they could be too crazy or radical to implement for real. For example, we could do the inverted restarts after every caution, ie. not just during the starting grid and mid-race segment, but that may be going a little too far with the overall mix-things-up concept. :meanlaughter

Oh man, inverted restarts would be something. But would it have to be those not involved in cautions? You don't want someone to intentionally wreck to get the lead.

Yeah, although it would be interesting, I think the rule would be difficult to implement.
