I guess now would be the time to explain some of the rules for this weeks race.
Even tho this is one of those "T" tracks (ie: time trap), there are very few of the traps at this track so we will be watching for excessive off-roading this week. 2 tires must stay on the pavement. As usual, the occasional mishap will be overlooked, but repeated instances will catch a penality.
Pitting: Pit road speed is 35 mph. When entring the pits, stay to the right/inside of the final turn and enter from the track. BE CAREFUL OF YOUR SPEED WHEN ENTERING, the pit line is not marked. It is suggested that you practice so you know where that line is.
Stay to the LEFT while driving down pit road. Use caution entering and exiting your stall, stalls are not marked. Watch for your crew. Again, practice pitting.
When exiting pit road, exit directly onto the track, and stay to the right/inside of turn 1. Merge safely.
