Selecting ISDN in Heat isn't what causes a disconnect. It's the ISP, or Internet Service Provider.

What lepage said. ISDN is actually what you want to select for your connection type.

ISP is the company you buy internet from, i.e. comcast, frontier, AOL, etc. Hammer was saying his internet service sucked.
