Hard Charger

I am just wondering what constitutes the hard charger award. Obviously most positions gained from start, but both lepage and I tied for most positions gained during the race, yet he got the hard charger.

I qualified worse and he finished better. Maybe one of these factors should be used incase of a tie?

Or both drivers receive the bonus points?

The driver finishing better is the tie breaker.
