Hey Flyers the #42 looks real good, but I think it would look better if you finished off the lines on the tribal design, they look chopped off on the medal plate? portion of the side skirt.

Also flyers, not trying to be picky but the paint pattern on the 42 you made is from 2010, the 2011 42 pattern has some minor changes.

@hawkseye and flyersfan, The 2010 design of the 42 is absoultely fine for our purposes. The designs are very similar. As for the lines ending in the side skirt, Just make the black skirts like they come it the template, and that'll cover that up. Then it's fine.

@BMX and Mustang, I am about to look at the cars you guys sent yesterday and today right now after I finish eating. I just got home from work. Don't worry about the light numbers, Bmx. Since you sent me the psd, I'll just do them up quick myself.

Everything else that you guys are working on, just give me by tomorrow afternoon, because I want to have all we got together to get to lapage to make the installer by the morninng of the 1st so he can make the installer on the first, and that'll give us a full week with the mod in-hand before the first race!

hey bover, im going to give it a shot at painting the 39 of ryan newman, what particular scheme would you want in the mod?

@ Hawkseye: I didn't look at the car in the mod, but it looks nice on the zmod viewer I used. I'm sure it'll look good as everything looks better in-game than it does on zmod. Also, I found better Mcdonalds text for the sides and put it on there. If you want the better Mcdonalds text let me know

There's something with your pen tool settings that makes your red line not line up correctly with your black. That looks like a car that you probably won't get done by tomorrow morning when I need it, so just keep at it and it could make it into the update.

i have this issue with PSP7, have to use te lasso tool and do point to point selection then fill in the selection and crop tough edges off.

I dont have CS4 or 3 so i cant do much with the edges either.

doesn't psp 7 have a pen tool? If I remember correctly, with psp7 it doesn't do vectors, which are how you draw those nice lines. That being the case, if I couldn't find CS3 or whatever I'd use gimp. It probably has the pen tool in it.

edit: wow i just found the draw tool, but it isnt a pen tool.. and it does do vectors

Yeah, I didn't like it too much either. I installed it before to try it, but wasn't thrilled. I do know however that it's more full featured than PSP 7 is.
