2010 Fusion

in case anyone doesnt know, ford will be running the 2010 fusion for this upcoming 2009 season. i dont know how to make them, but i was wondering if anyone was making the templates for the new ford nose? here is a pic

Its just a matter of adjusting the existing template with the new grill and vents, I'll ask around the paint community and see if anyone has the new stuff out yet. Will keep posted

I got a set of Decals given to me today. They're preliminary ones, and there will probably be better ones out later, but they certainly aren't bad at all. I'll make up a new ford template with the new decals shortly.

They're the decals used on the pics in this thread. Gotta thank Blaxman of the modsquad for sharing these.

I don't think mustang was criticizing bover's work. He was just stating that the 2010 Fusion is ugly.......and I would have to agree......

Yeah, that's probably my most satifiying piant job I ever did. I just put the new grille/lights onto it.

That brings up a free piece of advice to all you young aspiring painters out there. I've saved every layerd paint job I ever did. you never know when you might need to go back in and get something. I've gone back into old paintjobs to get something for new work countless times.

I'll have to see the real '10 fusion to give a verdict. I don't like the look of the current fusion. I think it's the ugliest of the big 4's cars in that class. The street versions of the charger impala and camry all look fine to me.

I am a Ford man through and through. I am very disappointed in Ford for the changes they have made to the Fusion. Your art work is awesome, no question about that. However, I think the 2010 Cup car is ugly and the production version is even worse. In my opinion, the current (2008) Fusion is the best looking car Ford has used in NASCAR, and this is coming from a Thunderbird lover.

I was never a ford man, but there was something to be said about those late 80's to mid 90's T-Birds that nascar used. I liked the Tbird better than the lumina or pontiac at the time.

Well I don't want to do it, but I think I have to admit with the Fusion change for 2009, the Impala becomes the best looking Cup car. I just hope Ford changes their trucks (Camping World Truck Series) to look like the new 2009 F-150. Best looking truck EVER made!

the 09 f150 looks like a cheap knock off of a 2008 super duty, they took everything good about the superduty and cheapened it, made it dull and formless, and put an f150 badge on it, congrats on the redesign!

I haven't liked the F150's since they came out with that really crappy rounded looking desing circa 99 2000ish. I did always like the super duty's but for 1/4 ton pick up class, gotta admit that the dodge has been the best looking truck since the ram came out, Yes, the F250/350 super duty's look better, but it's when we're talking about the 1/4 ton class which puts the f150 against the 1500 chevy and dodge models, ford looses that battle.

If you want to go to the jap jobs, the nissan titan looks way 'truckier' than the toyota tundra does.
