trying to help a friend get into heat. We have reinstalled everything but the daytona warp is awful. I got him ghost cars everything. Maybe a .res file.

make sure it's the real daytona that came with the heat game. There are other versions of daytona out there. Make sure it's the right one.
Daytona always has some amount of line warp to begin with.
Is your friends computer using a software firewall like zone alarm, or Norton Firewall? If so, that causes it sometimes.
