Here is a question I was asked several times just since I've been home today..... "If the rule is no longer in effect, then how can you enforce the penalties dished out?"

I need to know what to tell the masses when they come to me for answers. I'm gettin tired of sayin "Talk to Lepage, its his rule."

If we are not going to use the low line rule, then how can one be penalized for a "test"?

in a nutshell

I guess I'm just not understanding the confusion.

I believe everything can be answered through the original "special rules" post: viewtopic.php?f=64&t=9446.

if we are not going to enforce the special rule, then how can we enforce the penalties given out for violations to the non existant special rule?

I think whomever's asking this is just interested in playing word games. The simple facts that a) there was a special rule in place and b) penalties could send you to the rear of the starting grid were clearly outlined well ahead of time.

I believe the answer is as follows, We had a (new) rule in place for the shootouts, Not a (test) rule in place, Now we don't have the (new) rule in place for future races, therefore they have justified it as (happened) (already completed), so their not going to change it. Hope this helps with everyone's confusion.

Speaking of new rules... How about that double file start!
