Daytona 200 Qualifying Saturday & Daytona 200 Sunday
The 2015 ARL Cup Series Daytona Speedweeks continues with the championship opener Saturday and Sunday! The Daytona 200 Qualifying open session starts things off Saturday, February 28th, at 9pm Eastern US when we determine who will start on the front row Sunday. Drivers will experience the league's new qualifying procedure for the first time with a ten minute open session for drivers to run as many laps as they can or want. Immediately following the open qualifying session the field will be split into two groups and drivers will run the two Qualifier Races. Even and odd cars will each compete in their own eighteen lap races to set the starting grid for the remaining rows and assure the starting positions of the front row.
Finally the big event takes place Sunday, March 1st, at 9pm Eastern US - the Daytona 200 will kick off the 2015 Cup Series Championship Season. 80 laps and 200 miles will be run on the 2.5 mile oval in Daytona Beach. Who will prevail? Be sure to download all the new custom paints and sign-up if you have not yet. Everyone is welcome both nights!
