Again, Busch Racers Are Better
Again, Busch Racers Are Better
Better racing here, a little better drivers, better points battles, and no fighting drivers. Look at what those goofs are doing over on the Cup forum...pfff, we're way better

Re: Again, Busch Racers Are Better
i agree viagra. i miss the busch league. the drivers are nicer to race with. in the cup league you can get run over and be blamed all at the same time. I also think the penalties aren't enforced as they should be sometimes. sometimes drivers get into each other and I have even done it but when a driver does this and refuses to apologize and even blames the slower car, that is a problem. that is clearly a rule violation. what a driver is saying by behaving this way is...."get out of the way NOW or it will be your fault when I bump you out of the way"....If a driver was to say sorry when an incident happens, well, you know the usual respone "NP" When drivers like this get away with this kind of stuff, it all of a sudden is no fun anymore. I am contemplating withdrawing from the league. Not because I am a whiner but because we put so much time in this during the week to be treated with disrespect during and after a race. In short, as much as I have enjoyed racing with you all, I have better things to do with my time.

Fire...and Skoty, Fred, and I put in way too much time for an incident like this to lose good drivers. If you want to move back to NBS, it is something we can arrange.
We cannot penalize Eaglekeeper for a flame we could not see, and we will enforce this policy in the future. He did type something during the race, but it was not a flame.
We enforce the rules no differently in the CUP Series. Please point to one example where this has occured. Eaglekeeper took himself out at Atlanta and you continued on to 6th. Had you been taken out of contention for a good position due to the incident, Eaglekeeper would have been properly penalized.
And I will repeat that we know the more important issue is the blame, but we just did not see enough for a flame penalty. Eaglekeeper was wrong for doing it, but we just cannot penalize for a private message unless we get a screenshot of it.

thankyou
thankyou LP for putting an end to this silliness. there were "flames" that were "P.M.-ed" to me as well but I didn't say anything, nor did it bother me. But if someone wants to go to busch.... I think there are a few drivers that are iching to come to cup..... so everything will work out either way.
Re: Again, Busch Racers Are Better
Well with the recent behavior of some CUP drivers...I am not sure why that is ...
I think V6 is right for now though...NBS seems to be the most impressive series thus far.

Naaaaa... Cup is where it's at :)
Common now...... We all know that the "Cup Series" is the place to be for: excitement , intensity , heated rivalries , crazy adrenaline junkies , fierce competition , speed that is out of this world , and DRAMA, DRAMA, and more DRAMA!!!
We've got great NHRL veterans, Crafty conservatives, and Speedy Rookies from HeatRacin's league- hungry for victories. It's crazy!!! ..... there's "no fear" just pure competition. We've collected all of the Nascar fans that have been video game junkies most of thier lives.... the type of guys that always were the "Madden NFL" champs in their neiborhood, or the EA Sports Nascar racer that smoked all of his buddies racing on split screne PlayStation and PS2 systems using "D-pad" controllers where "X" was gas and "the Square button" was brake. We get so competitive..... that it's just natural to get a little "fired-up"!!! Man..... I was, and still am, that guy that I'm talking about here. the unbeatable Madden NFL champ and smokin EA sports PS2 racer........... and about a year ago..... the unthinkable happened! The guy that could not be beat(me )... year after year by all of his buddies..... was taken down at both Madden and EA Nascar. I was en-raged!!! I wanted to throw that fricking PS2 controller to the ground time after time.... and smash it to tiny pieces on the floor!!!! How can this be happening!?!?!? I'm the Best!!! but...... ya know what? I picked up that PS2 controller and continued playing. My pride was deflated.... and I was so ticked.... i couldn't think straight...... but I kept on trying to get a win. It was the "competitive RUSH" that I was thirsting for. The rush that we all thirst for. That's why we all come here.... isn't it? So..... Fire79..... pick up that controller man ... and letz race for it!!!!!
P.S. the guy that beat me @ Madden NFL and EA sports Nascar a year ago..... was the one and only "TommyW" and I'd have to admitt...... I still dust off the PS2 and pop in Madden 2004 for a little practice session every once in a while..... just in case TommyW ever wants a "re-match"
LOL Eagle

Eagle was right....
There are a few ( or one I know 1 for sure ) drivers that would like to be in Cup. Cup was my first choice, but I wasn't around in time to get signed up. So in a way I guess you could say that I settled for Busch. And I must admit that when 10:00 rolls around Saturday night and all the Cup guys are in the server and I know that I'm gonna have to sit on the IRF and wonder whats going on in there, it drives me crazy. Especially when you guys are running a track where that I think I got something for ya. Kind of what I'm getting at here is you guys that are in Cup should feel happy to be where you are. It's where the best of the best are and there is no doubt about it. There are people that can race in Cup but couldn't get in, so those spots that you guys have do have value to them and use them in the best way you guys know how.. I think you all are great guys and look forward to racing against you next year in Cup.. ( practice up cuz I'm comin.. LOL !! ) ACE
Re: Eagle was right....
Ruh Roh ...I cannot help but add a comment about this, Haulinace. It is something we have said over and over again for two years and it is a little bit frustrating.
NHRL CUP is not supposed to be the "better" or the "best" series. It was never intended to be and never will be the "best."
So when you say It's where the best of the best are and there is no doubt about it...I certainly am having my doubts. NBS has shown better driving on every track thus far this year and better competition. Last year, I had less wins in NBS than I had in CUP (8 to 12). There were a few races where I simply cruised to victory. None such in NBS. Of course the competition in both series is higher yet again this year and this is impossible anywhere now.
Right now NBS has easily surpassed CUP as the superior series, both in behavior, attitude, and patience. Since I am in both series I feel qualified to say this as well as the other double duty drivers.
We simply call our two car series by different names. NBS has a bit of a lighter schedule and more off weekends and this is the main difference that separates it from CUP. CUP of course has 3 more races and a few special events.
The drivers that want to race in CUP simply want more racing, because it is fun. A few drivers have made the mistake assuming CUP was an elite series compared to NBS as an "easier series" and they have certainly found this out.
You may have a bit of a misperception, because of your early success Hauliance. But you are a very good driver, and your strategies and setups have proven to be top notch thus far. Your success is NOT a result of an easier series. You may be doing even better if you ran in CUP.
We need a little NBS pride in here...

Re: So True
at some point maybe there could be a special race to put to rest the assumption that the cup series is better than the busch. on second thought maybe that wouldent be a good idea, because the cup drivers apperently dont handle losing very well, so when the busch drivers triumph (and triumph they would) then the whole cup series would probably go verm on us and the entire cup series would get banned. he he so, nevermind.......
Cup Theme
Got an idea of what the Cup series theme should be...
Since the series runs on Saturday night, they can use "Saturday Night's Alright for Fightin" as their theme song

Re: Cup Theme
not sure what would be the more accurate comparison there, the song "saturday night's alright for fighting" or the artist!!!! those cup guys do seem just a little too sensitive.
Please understand that.....
I am in no way saying that the drivers in cup are superior then any drivers in Busch. Your right about the competition in Busch and also the integrity that seems to be going on.. Please don't take what I said wrong anyone.. I was actually trying to make a positive statement, maybe it didn't come out exactly as it was meant to say...
Re: Please understand that.....
Well I know what you meant, anytime someone is sitting on the outside of a big race you always want a piece of the action.
Re: we know what you meant ace
you just wanted to get into cup because you know you would dominate those guys. lol pretty soon they might have a "no busch sub rule" thanks to you. ha ha he he ha. ok i'm done messing with the cup guys. just having some fun.
busch=#1
Busch series is the real deal , and cup is just a bunch of bums drinkin , racin , wreckin , and fightin ...another possible theme

Re: busch=#1
Now now now V6, let's not start the name-calling. I only ran the last half of the Busch season last year, but even then it seemed that the better competition, attitude, and overall driving were better than in cup. That's why when I was signing up for 2004, I told Lepage71 that I only wanted to run Busch again. Now I may not be the best driver in the league, or maybe I just have really bad luck, since I haven't exactly gotten real great finishes yet this season, but I'm happy participating the way I am in NHRL, running Busch and trucks, and subbing in Cup for a lot of races. That way, when things go bad in a Cup race, it doesn't bother me so much because it's not my points I'm losing...LOL j/k...don't let that comment dissway you from using me as a sub...LOL, but anyway, I think ya'll see my point, if I even have a point.
