2014 Pole Shootout/All Star Race

DusterLag took home the Pole Shootout victory last year while Donaldson made the race winning pass against CR49 on the very last lap to win the all-star event, who will win this years events?

I have tentative dates for these special events (looking at February 7th & 8th back to back nights, say 9:00 PM EST), i don't think any leagues have anything going on those days. Basically anyone who won a pole or won a race last year (jan - dec 2013) will be eligible to participate, please let me know if you are suppose to be on the listing and i will double check. I think i got everyone. Basically I'm asking for input as to what settings do you guys wanna race under?

The tracks will be G3-Daytona_SP for Pole Shootout and G3-Charlotte_SP for the all star race in the G3 CUP mod.

But what do you guys want for wear factor and race mode (normal, expert, hardcore?), fixed setups? open setups? Want open qualifying or random grid starts? I'll go with the majority vote.

Is there any kind of race your way in type of deal? I'd be interested in running a race like this, but I'm a perennial 2nd to 5th place guy.

if there's a grouping of drivers that would like to have an "open race" for 1 transfer spot, i would be interested in doing it.

How many laps will each of these races have? I'd like to run both in Hardcore mode, with a 4x wear rate for an extra pitstop (depending on lapage , of course) If not hardcore,possibly expert mode.I have never raced expert mode except in the LCH mod.

I know there are some Heat Community members ,old and new, that would like a chance to race on these 2 nights,and I, for one, have no problem with some type of "race your way in" heat race prior to these events each night. How many would transfer in to the main events
is the question,if it is decided that a "race your way in "race will be done .There are quite a few dedicated drivers that i feel deserve a chance to race, regardless of wins or poles. Just my take on the situation.
