The 2013 / Season 4 schedule as been officially released and open wheel racing is back for its fourth year! New this year we've added two All-Star events & a reset championship system that is similar to the NASCAR Chase! This season we will continue to follow the IRL IndyCar Series schedule closely so you can compete with the real drivers week to week. We will be running the Platinum Grand Prix mod and 2011 IndyCar carset. We will be racing on Sunday afternoons at 4pm Eastern while drivers are permitted four provisionals. We welcome racers of all skill levels and racing backgrounds.
While the IZOD IndyCar Series hits the track in St. Petersburg on Sunday - the OWAction IndyCar Series will be practicing for Chicagoland. St. Petersburg may not be available for Heat but great drivers will be on the track for 96 laps of on the edge racing at Chicagoland in the first race of 2013!

Patch kept it his #26 Budweiser Honda on-track just enough to capture a win in the rain on the slick Taruma Wet course. In an exciting two weekends Patch captured the pole for the Indy 500 IRL event after a 20 minute qualifying session clocking in at a 40.710 which is more than a tenth faster than last years pole when ucrdoh clocked in at a 40.818. DusterLag captured his second Indy 500 IRL Victory last Sunday in his #01 Ford after suffering front wing damage and wrecking in the opening laps. Patch started on the pole but would not stay there long as he and every driver in the field would take a trip off-track and through the grass at least once.
ucrdoh made a strong return to the IndyCar series Sunday afternoon at New Hampshire SP, taking the pole and victory by conserving fuel with a fuel setup.

Race 1 of the reset took place on the tight street circuit of Toronto IRL Sunday afternoon, ucrdoh took the pole by more than a second with a record setting 55.343. ucrdoh continued to dominate on the streets - leading all 45 laps, running the fastest lap and lapping the entire field while taking his #1 Texaco Havoline Mercedes-Benz to victory lane.
