We've announced the schedule for the 2011 NBS Series season. In an effort to consolidate the schedule, we'll be competing in 16 races from early January to mid May and avoiding the summer months entirely. To accommodate more drivers, we're also shifting the series from its former slot on Sunday nights to Friday nights at 11:00 PM ET. Drivers who'd like to participate in the series should post their numbers and tex files in this thread. All numbers from last season are reserved unless: 1) a driver switches numbers or 2) a driver will not compete in the series. Keep in mind, if you're using the same tex files as last year, then you're required to post them again in this thread. Drivers who come to a race with an unauthorized car will suffer a 10-point deduction.
Tired of seeing the default headshots in the starting lineup? In a new twist this year, we encourage everyone to post their grid pictures along with their car files. Your grid picture should be a 65 (width) x 90 (height) TGA image. In order to appear, the TGA should be placed in your NBS Series mod directory and be named to match your online racing username (e.g. "lepage71.tga"). Let us know if you have any questions about formatting these files.
Rookies are eligible to register for the 2011 NBS Series. However, each rookie must understand the league rules and earn race-to-race approval from the administrators. Before posting a number in this thread, please read the recruitment instructions and complete the application form on the signup page.
Feel free to post questions about numbers and car files in this thread. Please do not post spam, painting critiques, and other pointless comments. Potential consequences for spam include suspensions, points deductions, and loss of forum privileges.
