IRP crashing

Post by camry »

I tried loading IRP today and it is crashing in my COT and NBS mods. It opened fine in CTS. Below is the error log. Lepage took some shots at helping me already, but we had no luck. Also, anyone know how to get rid of that "Nascar Heat is not designed for Windows 2000" message that pops up everytime I load Heat?

Error log from NBS

I have no clue why IRP is crashing.....has to do with 03pont.car, whatever that is.

This will get rid of that woindows 2000 messege..

Sounds like you have your ghostlaps on. What its doing is looking for the 03pont.car files best lap. If you turn off your ghostlaps you should be ok. Let me know

Ok, after a little research here is what i found out....:)

it's looking for a 03pont.car file. That is from the NR2k3 to Heat mod and was probably what the track's AI was made with. You may have had the "Ghostcar" feature turned on,and it may have been looking for the mod/.car/setup ...etc that the track was made with. Usually turning the Ghostcar" mode off in the game will fix that...most of the time

So basicly do what ef said...lol

Thanks Skoty, both issues have been fixed.

Lepage told me about the MOD launcher program yesterday, which is awesome. That shows how far out of it I am. There any other tools around that I don't know of?
