question about points system...

I'm not sure if this has been asked already....
if it has ... i missed it.
but, i was wondering about the 5 point bonus awarded to the "Die Hard" driver of the race in all series for the 2006 season.
how does one earn this bonus???

I was wondering about that too, EK. I haven't asked yet, but I am assuming it's for the poor sapper who gets wrecked on like.... lap 5, or is really and sticks it out for a finish.

nope Ktin3..... the bonus points that you are thinking of are the "Hard Charger" award..... but, this "Die Hard Bonus is something different

well, the "new bonus" did beat out the "hard charger" in the poll.

Lucky Dog (1st 1 lap down), The Blocker (ha, last on lead lap), or my favorate, The Iron Man.... the guy/guys who have yet to miss a race? longest streak? a set # of races i a row? or whatever....

The die hard award goes to the worst finishing driver (still running at the end of the race) who has picked up positions from their starting grid spot.
