now.... that was the hardest i have ever raced.... and the most battling for position i have ever done....
only to grab a 2nd place (with the best car i might add).
i watched the replay and was almost exhausted after watching it.
-drove my a$$ off to catch tommy.... then battled him for the lead until he pitted on lap 24.
-then battled lepage for about 50 laps straight!

~it was some killer racing!!!!!!!!!!!

which also describes what Lepage71 did to win it. Fine job u guys, I only watched ya out the windscreen (as u were getting smaller! lol).

Rumors have it tho, that Team NHRL may have a different look for next year.

This whole team thing has stirred up a real crapstorm. Time for folks to make a change.

As a free agent, I have put some feelers out (if ya havent felt anything dont worry lol). And Im thinkin the drama has only just begun.

By my calculations, I see 3 LOD cars. Now i'm no Einstein, but Eagle, Reef and myself = 3? No?

oh oh. Does team LOD have some kind of recognition list of whose important and whose not "really" LOD or second hand? Ouch! Poor Camry and Reef. I can smell the disgruntledness. Is there disdain for LOD drivers that finish behind a few others.....mmmmm And they just got started too. What a shame.

Yes there was three LOD Members at the race... I think he was picking on me for not being at the race.!! My fault. Sorry guys!!

i'd have to say..... that... i think i had the car to beat. and yes tommyw was in my way. but...... i don't mind that one bit. because.... tommyw and i go back a few years and we both work together ..... and i always love to b/s with him at work about the races.
i also tend to raqce tommyboy extra extra hard. it's fun.... kind of a bragging-right. but.... i'd have to admit.... when i see the #12 or the #9 near me... i don'f let up one bit.... nor do i give him an inch. and.... i expect the same in return.
i could have had more of a lead in that race. but, once i caught tommy.... i knew (and he probably knew) that my car was better on the long run. but, that little bit of information was not going to stop him from racing his tires off to keep me behind him. it was kind of ticking me off..... but it was also challenging and fun to try to get around him.

well eagle you nailed that one right on the head. I knew yours was better on the long, BUT like you said you were going to have to fight to get that position. And it is fun as always. Making each other earn everything they get.

If I was blocking, why did you rearend me going into 1 when I gave you the whole bottom to pass. LOL But no you wanted my bumper instead. LOL All and all some great racing on a difficult track.

yeah..... i was mad at myself after that on Tommyboy.
I entered to fast that time and was hard on the brakes. then I saw that you had actually given me the low line. once i saw this i turned my wheel to the left.... but, being that i was so hard on the brakes already... my rear tires lost grip and broke loose. in your view it probably looked like i rear-ended ya. but, i actually hit ya with the side of my car (i was "drifting" in there side-ways) .... lol
took me another 5-6 laps to catch ya again after that mistake.
