Just a minor notification to all drivers.

After reviewing the Charlotte race, I noticed alot of people were illegally entering pit road. The rules state,

"You do not have to stay on the apron when entering or exiting pit road. Please stay on the lowest groove possible. There may be penalties assessed if a driver exits pit road going too slowly and intentionally swings onto the track."

All drivers must stick right to that white line of the apron when entering pits. Everyone has been good about typing PPPPPPP and XXXXXXX, but people (including myself) have been guilty of doing the old swinging motion into the pits, by going up high on the track and then cutting down. From now on this will be a 10-point penalty and up to 50 points if serious. So when you are pitting, signal intentions to pit on the backstretch, stay in the lowest racing groove into the turn, hit brakes and gradually slow, and then peel onto the apron and enter the pits at pit road speed.

If everyone follows these rules safely and appropriately the racing will be even better. wldray executed perfected pit stops during the race, and look where it put him, in victory lane. You aren't saving time by entering pits hazardously.

Thx all cya next week!
