I think it's in a common directory that I would have lost by running ARL saturday night, right?

No, the game saves the results.txt file in the mod-specific folder. So the ARL race, with the COTG cars, shouldn't have overwritten the file.
The file for Richmond would be in the NASCAR Heat > NHRLC11 folder.
