Cutting the images correctly and naming them properly is a little complicated, so basically just contact myself or Proverb if you would like to use these as your grid pictures.

We have all of them ready and set to go for anyone who wants to use it. You paste them in the main NASCAR Heat folder just like you do with tex files.

Let us know!

Hey Guys...

Just go to my Link and download the ZIP file !

All you have to do is extract the file into the Heat folder and whalla!

...and Kyle, to answer your question, they are "in-race" pictures that replace that generic one that automatically shows up for custom drivers, like when the games goes through the starting grid right before a race starts and in the post-race results. Also they will show up for everyone who has them downloaded, provided they are properly named, etc.

How is this?

If the Link attempts to open QuickTime like on my PC, simply right click and select "save as". Save it to the Heat Directory.

One thing...a few TGA might need to be renamed, such as Fireman's, who goes by Fire79 now. And I do not think the 7 on Haulinace's name fits when he is racing online?

ok..... i downloaded all the tga from the web site of proverb's I took a look at them..... and on my computer..... they are all in PSP (Paint Shop Pro) format. Do I need to convert them to tga's? by selecting "save as" tga for each one? or just stick each file in my heat folder just as they are?
lepage71

Re: ?

Post by lepage71 »

they are already tga images...the only reason you have them as paint shop pro is because your computer cant read tga files with just windows paint or other simpler programs

To put a picture in the forum, the picture first needs to be uploaded to the internet?
