I'd be interested in joining in on the fun. I used to race HEAT a long time ago, and then tried N3, but didn't like it as well. But I'd like to get back into racing HEAT. I would need help in getting organized with all the proper updates and patches, as I will have to reinstall the game. If there is an opening, would someone be willing to help an ole boy out?

Once you are able to reinstall the game and updates, you should download IRF ( from http://www.internetracefinder.com ) if you don't have it already.
It will be up to the administrators as to whether or not you can join one of the leagues but you can still hop on IRF and get familiar with some of the league drivers. Because you have not played Heat in a long time, it will be important that you get some practice and that other drivers are comfortable with your driving skills.
There are plenty of helpful guys on IRF that will practice with you and possibly help with setups. Good luck and hope to see you online.
