Hi everybody!
This is to inform you of the dates of the Indy 250 we have planned.
We will be using the PlatinumGrandPrix INDY mod by Blaxman, found at http://themodsquad.info and also the Indy_500_irl.trk which can be found @ TMS aswell.
Discuss here, the race is guranteed but yellow flags may not happen. However! To add some more uniqueness to this event we will be having a live broadcast.

Would you mind discussing with me exactly which mod this is? I'm interested in running Indy cars. I see the Platinum GT COT mod and various off-shoots and dont know even how to install that. Download the basefiles then the mods on top of them? Who knows? lol Thanks.

Also download the carset file (2010 cars) and the track pack that contains Indy_500_irl track.
You'll also need mod launcher to use this mod.

Once its all installed use the carset swaper in modlauncher2 to "swap" in the 2010 carset...
If you really dont want to install ml2 then you can simply copy the contents of the NASCAR Heat\platinumgrandprix\Carsets\IZOD INDYCAR 2010 folder directly to the NASCAR Heat\platinumgrandprix folder and launch the mod with a shortcut like any other "C:\Program Files (x86)\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\NHeat.exe" -noautoplay -mod:platinumgrandprix

Thanks for answering that one guys, I didn't have much time this week to do much surfing so I appreciate it.
PS: If you're too scared to race we will need commentators for the Live Broadcast, this will be on teamspeak (because the response time is aprox. 1 second faster than Ventrilo). - So let me know if you want to volunteer.
