My new racing rig

I have begun construction on version 2 of my racing rig this weekend. I've got a bunch of pics posted over at my site.

I decided to go with 2" PVC pipe this time around. It is infinately easier to work with than steel, and surprisingly just as strong and sturdy as my previous rig, in my opinion. I have to cut out a new steering deck, possibly tonight. A new keyboard stand has to be cut in as well, that part is gonna be easy.

I am now searching for a different way to add resistance to the wheel, I would like to cut the overall footprint of the entire steering assembly so my bungees are gonna get tossed. I'm also gonna fab up a nice looking sheet metal enclosure for the wheel assembly once I get it figured out.
