I've never been a Petty "fan," but I've always liked and respected Richard and Kyle. I am very glad to see that the Petty name will be sticking around in NASCAR. I am sad that they had to merge with Gillette (whom I cannot stand), but at least they went with Petty rather than his own. I am very proud of Richard sticking to his beliefs and not allowing any beer sponsorship to be on HIS cars. That is a very respectable thing he has done throughout his career!
