Re: 2009 Race Length
Well,as far as the length = actual time racing versus possible server time length limitations ,of the 20 Cup races in
2008,only 7 races exceeded 46 minutes. Of the remaining 13 races, 2 were under 42 minutes, Bristol (41+ min.{160laps})
and North Carolina , a paltry 37 + minutes long {88 laps}!!! I think most races should be set between 46 minutes and 54
minutes, some maybe even longer,if that is plausible for the server to handle . You know, I love racing and do practice
alot (and it will soon show ) and it seems kinda strange to spend that much time practicing and then come raceday, the
race is over in an average of 45 minutes.
Is it the BIG RACE DAY or the little ho hum got nothin else to do might as well get in the way day! So, yes , they should be extended!
I know the Admins put alot of time and difficult work into making all this happen, but, they must love racing as much as I do or they wouldn't be doing it! So that excitement of Race day is here finally, lets git it on ,should be enjoyed , why not enjoy that feeling for a couple of minutes longer. OLO ( Only Live Once)

Re: 2009 Race Length
I liked most of the race lengths this year.
Thank you for posting those time statistics speedy...
I like the :45 to an hour time frame. Less than :45 is too short, and more than an hour is too long.... Admins should take that one that speedy mentioned was only 37 minutes and lengthen it slightly. Any that were over an hour should be shortened slightly.

Sorry Bover, but I did forget to mention that of those 20 Cup races ,the longest was Charlotte at 52+ minutes.
The rest were 48 +minutes or under!!

Re: 2009 Race Length
This is a work in progress. The admins are trying to get all the races to 45 mins roughly. Except maybe lowes. FYI the race times in saved results include restarts. Beware.

Re: 2009 Race Length
Over the past couple of seasons, we've scheduled the races to last roughly between 40 and 50 minutes with a couple longer exceptions.
