enabling 75.69.70.3 srv_info_port

Post by sucahyo »

Hello,

Just wondering if this is possible.

I currently testing application to detect nascar heat server info. I think this is enabled by having this line in options.cfg of server:
srv_info_local_only no
srv_info_port 2005

I post here because I got nh server ip from hardingjr which is posted here:
http://themodsquad.uni.cc/modules.php?n ... sc&start=0

and this is the only server I can connect to.

I don't intent to race online, but I only testing the posibility of querying server status at realtime.

The info reported by nh server mention server name, track name, and some race info. example:
ÔNHeatÑBowman_GrayHardcoreNone1%3laps0Medium4X@ðd™øwÈ!ðˆÐð‘ùw ™øw

If it is ok, I would like to use server ip 75.69.70.3 as experiment. If agreed I would need help to enable srv_info_port and info of the port number assigned.

Here is the application, the output format is messed up because I still waiting for tads answer.

I can be contacted at themodsquad forum if I don't reply.

For those of you who don't know, Sucahyo is a person who is from the modsquad who is helping some guys out trying to make another app similar to when we had IRF a couple years ago..... He is also one of the key players in the group who've streamlined and finally perfected the process of converting NR2k3 tracks to NHeat.

Sucahyo... Please listen to and/or pm the league adminsitrators, or a tenured member of the league and not some guy who just joined the forum (I dunno if he joined the league) on the 20th of june.... some one/two days ago.

Sheesh!

Thanks for trying this stuff out, Sucahyo.

Wow, I was pretty drunk the other night after Niece's graduation party, and posted all kind of harsh stuff..

Sorry Mustangman. I misread your post when you were only trying to help. I'd just read all those "practice" posts and stuff that were ALL OVER THE FORUM and accidently lumped you in with that guy. My apologies.

Sucahyo,

Lepage71, Skoty Speed, and Reef are the league admins. Lepage71 is the guy who maintains the server. He'd be the main point of contact about server related questions.

The NHRL server already uses the default settings: server info port 2005 and local info only no.

I know everyone would like another monitoring tool like IRF. You may test whether or not our server shows up on the list program you're developing. I can't guarantee that it will be up at any given moment in time, but it is generally on "24/7."

Thanks lepage71, if you sure you open firewall for that udp port I guess I have to tweak the application. can my posted application work for you?

This has some serious potential! I used to run 5 servers 24/7 for different mods all listed on IRF it helped keep the game alive with random passer-by's...

I hope this works out!!

The program worked good for me....

Current status is waiting for everyone to choose which server to host.

feature planned:
server list download, but stored list locally
submitting server ip require login
submitting race results require login
running nascar heat with button
running multiple server in one computer
query server ping
query server info (server must have udp port enabled and open)

I would be happy to give you hosting space and purchase a domain specifically for this project...

I used to host many 24/7 heat servers & am currently working on getting back to this...

I would love to give any help possible for my services...

dusterlag@gmail.com

I will give you next to whatever you want for this...

Thank you very much, I really appreciate it :). The offline desktop app should be done in a week. I plan to test online mode after that.
