Now, lets not be doing something crazy like adding more road courses. This is a nascar league first. Last I checked, Nascar runs sears and watkins glenn, and the NNS runs 'Autodromos Hermanos Rodriguez' (Mexico City). The mod squad is making this track, and I say it bears investigating for next year's NBS series. perhaps a good replacement for 'bad hatch'.

IMO, we should run two road courses, Watkins Glen and Infineon, since those are the two the real NASCAR drivers run

Not that I run busch, but hold your tongue on more road courses. As was said, this is NASCAR. I've seen some of you run better at road courses than the regular NASCAR tracks, but you can always run a different mod or league. Let's keep it real.

Like I said in another thread, I don't want to be such a NASCAR purist, that we follow them to a tee (like dropping North Carolina). because that would be a darn shame.

I don't mind that we run 4 R/C's just don't want any more than that.

In this reporters opinion, we should run the exact same schedule as the real drivers in the Winston Nextel Sprint Car of Tomorrow Cup, and Grand National Busch Nationwide Series. That would settle this schedule ordeal. It should be done for the beginning of the 2008 season. Let's not have polls and suggestions, let's have a vote for the 2008 season to run the exact schedule as the real guys, or piddle around with all this nonsense. Heh Heh. Get Ur Done!

Maybe for next year have 2 different road courses for each series..like for cup - watkins glen and sears point, and for busch - brands hatch and indy rtc? That way all 4 tracks are being utilized and it leaves open 2 spots on each schedule to fill in with a different track to try out.

Such as, chicagoland, north wilkesboro, kanasas, Indianapolis, (why don't we run here but we run the road course?), and the new montreal road course we could all try out.

If we ran the exact schedule that the real boys run, we'd loose some really fun racing, like North Carolina. You'd want to loose that track? I wouldn't. Furthermore, they run a 36 race schedule. we run 20. It just doesn't add up.

You gotta admit, Indy RC was a fun race. In the cup race, I was having a blast (even in 9th) until I got discoed. We gotta look at Quality of racing and competation, Not what the guys on TV are doing, per sé. I don't want to become a road racing league, I enjoy oval racing too much. I think the current mix is fine. even if we switch up a couple venues.... keep the same ratio of short track, intermediate, super speedway and RC's.

Personally we could run neither Indy RC or Indy Oval and I'd be happy lol.

When choosing tracks for the NHRL, we look at alot of different things not just "the big boys run it so let us run it." Because it is online racing, warpy tracks are a factor, pit roads and stalls are another factor, overall racing quality, etc.... There are alot of nice quality road courses and short tracks out there for heat but very few which meet our overall needs. I suggest that if a schedule change is what you want and desire, take part in the preseason polls and test alot of places and give some input, not just "Lets run here cause it's good."
