yea, i noticed the trend in the schedule this year. i feel honered that all potential fuel run races were nixed to keep me from my favorate strategy. ha

but i got one past the goal tender anyway eh?



now please do get to working on the points situation in NBS. I'm just dying to know at which position you need to finish to garuntee the title. I'm dying to know if i even have an outside shot at this thing. Please be a sport and post such useful information.

Sorry Ef. You are 53 points behind lepage. His next worse race was scored at 189. Therefore no matter where he or you finishes, he will at least get 189 points. He has locked in the 2007 NBS Championship. Congrats Lepage!

Not gonna happen. Not at watkins. I cant help the fact that i am not the best road racer and i sure as hell wont apologize for being so slow that my fuel mileage was a whopping 1 lap more than almost everyone else. Call me crazy or whatever, but i still follow the old saying "in order to finish first, you must first finish"

sure i coulda threw caution to the wind and over drove my car, but what would that prove? I would just end up wrecking anyway. i doubt if i would have even finished in the top 5 had all the leaders not found ways to give up time on the track due to mistakes. what i lack in tenacity or equipment needed for road courses, i try to make it up with practice and strategy and this is the first time in 5 years it acually worked out, so i have no regrets.

I think it was a good race. I have alot of fun running road courses. Really looking forward to brands t hatch,watkins,indy rtc, and sears point again next year. Been some of the best racing i have participated in. Congrats to Ef on the Win and Lepage wrapping up the BGN championship

There's always that possibility that I made a mistake. Here is how I came to that conclusion. I wrote down the points for every race. Crossed off the 5 worst. Added up all the remaining including any bonus points from the 5 that were eliminated. I came up with Lepage=2,817 EF=2,764 Rook=2,755. We were tied the 1st time I added them up. I'm skeered to check again out of fear I will lose more ground.

PS. Also I didn't use penalties in the equation. Not sure if they're acurate.
