Should drivers who fail to notify the league about an absence receive points for that event (but placed behind any drivers that do notify the league)?

the same "thing" that causes someone to miss a race is alot of times the exact same thing that prevents a person from giving someone notice. life sucks, but if one of the league drivers has a real life episode that is so screwed up that he cant even make the time to log on and say "hey, i cant make it tonight", then why penalize the guy even further?

I think if i guy is not there when qualifying starts, he is pretty much saying "hey, i cant make it tonight"

or maybe one of the admins can offer up a phone number that i can store on my cell to garuntee a call if something happens serious enough to keep me away from the internet for multiple days (which would include missing the chance to say i wouldent be there and missing the chance to race)

in the past, if someone comes to us days after the event and lets us know what happened, we almost always give them a finishing position

it is only when we hear absolutely nothing that someone receives ziltch

I don't like the way NHRL does this.....

I have missed 1-2 BGN races recently due to work yet I have been scored behind Dozer and Dusterlag both times, and actually in one of those events I was scored last....sorry but that is flatout bullshit. You should do it by the guys who are showing up and racing.....and why the hell are Duster and Dozer still getting points....when was the last time you saw them on the track June?? Outlandish and Blasfimy.
