Latest from the Bov's Custom Paintshop

Post by bover907 »

I painted this for Ramrock, but forgot that he asked for it to be a number 47, lol. So, I'll have to put a 47 on it quick instead of the number 2.

Looks awesome! That paint takes away the ugliness of Heat's original models.

Yes, The original heat models really do suck. It took me forever to line up the miller signs from the quater panel to the c-pillar.

Hey Etab, How do you make smooth highlights like what you made behind the #10 on your SCCA cup series car, and the red highlights on that code red 19 car you painted there? I'll understand if you don't want to give away your secrets. (maybe a PM?) LOL [-o<

Just make new layers, use the spray/paint tool thing, and set the opacity pretty low. Sometimes it looks good when you use layers set to Soft Light or Overlay. :) You basically get those effects by playing around with the stuff til you get it where you want it.

You're alive! Thank God! lol. I was getting worried dude. You need to get that bad boy submitted and get it on the track, so we can all appreciate it's true beauty!

Glad to hear from ya, and hope to see you on the track soon. Send me an e-mail.

Now we have all three brands of beer that NASCAR has running in the NHRL. Geez, I painted all three of them. LOL
