keyboard vs. wheel?

Post by sdime98 »

i know this is probably gonna be a lopsided poll, just wondering who out there is still running with a keyboard? I am as of now, as i'm just trying to get into the whole online racing deal, been a heat racer for a few years now, but just now getting back into it, just got high speed at home ;) i'm gonna look into getting a wheel here soon, but for now, with testing and stuff, i'm KB'n it..

2 of the best road racers in heat use keyboards....but they use wheels on ovals, if they even race them.

I would suggest getting an Xbox 360 windows compatible controller until you decide to get a wheel! This is a good medium between a keyboard and a wheel! A keyboard will be very difficult on ovals!

I first started out with the keyboard, then after 2 days of that, I went and bought a wheel. It's very hard for me to be smooth using the keyboard. A wheel is day and night different from using a keyboard.

Easley is about 45 minutes east of Greenville in upstate SC. I am moving to Greenville in about a month, though! Yeah! My new house is awesome!

I do believe that RTB and Van T Bass both used keyboards on roadies and wheels on ovals.
