well, i was all set to go and figured i would take a break from the PC until racetime, then fell asleep

i woke and rushed to the PC and you guys were on lap friggin 1. I woulda came and begged for a restart, but i noticed that qualifying was done, and i didnt wanna cause a fuss. oh well, i guess i will catch the next one.

umm bro, your not the only one who missed it. Mine was done per family. rather have fallen asleep thou. everyone is in town this week. should of stayed away for a few more days this week!!. Can't wait to go back to work on tuesday!!

although....... if you've been around in the IRF and the Heat sim world for a while....... you missed one of the "old school" boys (RTB -Rusty T Bass). He showed up using the screen name of "Early".
It was cool to see one of the dudes that I used to race with about 4-5 years ago..... and one of the guys that i got most of my setups from.
RTB (Early) lead the most laps and was haulin some serious tail...... but the good ole "Fuel-run" boys of RookiesRock and EagleKeeper managed to steal the checkers from the speedy "Early".

I sure hope he races with us in 2006. that dude is fast and would really mix it up in NHRL

yea, i saw the name "early" and was wondering who that was

i stuck around and kept clicking on "info" at irf until the race was over and noticed that he had the fastest lap and led the most, i also noticed he finished like 5 laps down. The first thought came to my mind was "yea, he finally put 2 and 2 together, realized he was a seal, and left" lol

i'm also old school enough to remember RTB, but i doubt he remembers me, because i wasent very fast back in those days. Guess i am a slow learner.

btw- good thing i took a friggin 3 hour nap yesterday, because now i am up at 4 am bored out of my mind, and i am sure to fall asleep well before the party gets good tonight.

Looks like it was a great battle upfront? -sigh I always miss all the fun!! Any more fun races coming up soon?? Maybe like on a saturday night? early so know one falls asleep or winds up with company at there house?
