Really, our headaches started much earlier when on Monday I checked into the NASCAR trailer to look at the schedule and it still said Lowe's so we were practicing Lowe's all week! 2 hours before race time I saw the IP for Indy and had to dust off that car and get some laps in before the race. So we had a fast car today but I was still gonna "TAKE IT EASY EARLY" since I was somewhat out of practice. I slowed some while the #12 and #42 swaped positions up front (even though I coud have made a run for the front then, I was 3rd) and DavisV got a run under me so I let him go and on the next lap coming out of 4 he walled it and I went really low to avoid him but he came down fast and I smashed into him. Almost a full bar of front end damage. Sigh. Had to pit early cuz I was a dump truck and played catch-up all day running extra laps etc. Got to within a few seconds of 5th but the thing was handling like a pig after the crash and the tires were gone by then."
A word of caution, and Im not knocking any of the new guys since I think overall you do a great job, but Lowe's can be a similar experience for me. You can run fast off-line in testing and against AI ars but the race is a completely different experience. You have to race smart and let off sometimes. But do not get a run on someone and pass low into the corner just to push up and slam both of you into the wall or wall it in front of someone and take ya both out. Im gonna run 100 laps at Lowe's and run them fast and finish with out incident. But the unknown is YOU! If ya cant do that, please ease on to the back and try to finish the race without incident. That would be nice
What? No one wants to tell me Im a knucklehead and do stupid stuff too? Because of course I do. Lighten up here folks. I fully expect to take out a few cars this weekend (too bad one of them wont be the beak). AND, it's my birthday this weekend sooooooooo, if someone would please slow up the #71 and #12 for me that would be a nice b-day present!
Or, perhaps, I'm being shunned again. sigh. Well, nothing worse than being the phariah (it's a word, look it up!), the leper of the colony, the inflamed boil on the buttocks of the earth. But hey, I'll do my talking on race day!

Yeah, got home from work and did a little late nite testing and had a few lol. Looks like Im already ahead of you in the points man! TY, but what you could do is go crush Tommy's right thumb with a hammer. Make it look like a FOD accident hehe.
