d3efan's post-race comments:

"It was a great points day for the #28 team. We got the pole, led a lap, and led the most laps today. My buddy Dusterlag from team CEM looked like he was gonna hook up and work with us along with Ramrock41 and we hit the pit entrance perfect 3 wide on first pit stops but Ram couldn't quite make the corner around the wall and clipped Dusterlag. Perhaps 3 wide at that point wasn't such a good idea Ram! lol. So I did come off pit road with a 3 second lead but was a brick in the wind with no draft help and was quickly reeled in by Wild and EF. Congratulations to Wildfire on the win. Efgordon wasn't gonna be able to help us today since they were on a different pit strategy but he brought the #42 BBFF team a good finish."

Oh, and for last week (Darlington):

comments...

"Great run for the #28 team. The team gave me a great car today. Very consistent and fast over the long run. I kinda overdrove during qualifying and started 4th. And of all the restarts the last one was my least favorite. But after settling into 5th the 17 and 12 cars got together coming off 2 and that slowed Camry (who had a fast car today too) down enough for me to get by. I stayed out when my buddy Kyle (who was leading) pited on lap 18 to get the points and after pits it looked like it was just me and him. Kyle caught apron in turn 2 and with the thin server it looked like he stopped in the middle of the track. I almost ran him over! After we got the lead, we never looked back. From comments I believe most everybody had some damage but the ol' #28 didnt have a scratch on her. And that was really my whole strategy today: get out front, stay out front, and keep the fenders on it!"
