We haven't forgotten the concept of the Signature Events. We were hoping to schedule our first events in 2016-17 but became occupied with other priorities sprinkled in with a little procrastination. Soon, next month, we'll be making an announcement regarding the first event.

It may have something to do with Daytona RC and Rolex.

An NHRL series typically lasts for several months of the year. The Cup, Busch, and Truck series, as many know, are annual staples of the league, with sequential seasons in 2017, 2018, and beyond. But now, for the first time, we're adding something different, something that shakes up the traditional series format. The league is pleased to announce the debut of Signature Events, a continuous, season-less series of special exhibition races. Unlike past events, however, every Signature Event will count as an official victory in the league archives. And that's just the beginning. Where and what will we race in this new format? The possibilities are endless! Road courses, short tracks, figure 8 derbies. Sports cars, modifieds, UPS trucks. It's all possible! The rules may also differ from event to event: some may have caution flags, some could have no rules at all. So what to do next? For one, the first event is now posted, the NHRL 24 @ DAYTONA.
