I couldn't remember if I had used that patch or not, I thought I did since I didn't see the message when I wasn't running in compatibility mode but the patch did get rid of that message for me.

I have finally found a solution to my replay problem. I now have the Heat folder set giving me full permission, and have Heat set to run in Windows XP Service Pack 2 compatibility mode.
